Athens Pastries #2 Pronto Bakery at Attiki metro station

This Café is located outside the Attiki Metro Station, in the North west of Athens, in a suburbs area which was urbanized during 60's and 70's and become a dense working class residential area with many immigrants.














No touristic at all but there you can discover the real face of Athens citizens and how they lived. They've got many facilities around the metro train station and one of them I'd like to present is Pronto cafe, Good place to have rest and good place for meeting with family and friends.





A local and Modern Bakery café





This Pronto Bakery café is a very local Bakery, pretty new and comfortable, with a covered terrace with heater in winter and air conditioner in Summer.

Here, as you prefer, you can :





  • first have a look in the Bakery, order and then take a seat or take away or first have a seat
  • Or have a seat, calmly take a look at the menu and a waitress will come to you for ordering




I recommend their homemade ice-cream cookies and if you like honey made pastries have a try to their delicious Greek pastries.
