Athens Pastries #3 Bread Factory

Another one Bakery I really like in Athens center is the Bread Factory, a Greek Bakery Chain, good place for tasting traditional greek pastries at reasonable price.

There are 6 stores, all open 24h and the second opened since 2016 is the one at Karaiskaki square in Metaxourgeio station (Line2), just 2 min walks from the Metro station.

Despite the bad reputation of this neighbourhood, this area has been cleaned up those recent years and now you can find some attractive stores, cafes and restaurants for the local working class citizens of Athens. A district which looks like more local than Monastiraki, or Omonia.

Each pastries are sold by the Kilo, means each price you will see is the price for 1 kg (about 2 Lbs), but for real a cookie is just around 100g. It's really worth it!

They also serve salted meals, snacks, juices and hot drinks. You can eat what you want there 24hours a day, on a heated terrace in winter, at reasonable price, what else ?

The best part of this bakery is the big choices of cookies and cakes.
