Marco Martini Chef, Roma - Michelin Star Restaurant

This is my review of the One Michelin Star Restaurant Marco Martini Chef Restaurant, located in Roma, Italy.

We found this restaurant by chance, when we just arrived in Roma.

Colosseum of Roma, at Circo Massimo district

After walking in the Roma's streets to discover the city, we were looking for a restaurant to have rest and eat pasta before checking. We had luggages, and we were dreaming of an enough big restaurant to have place to storage our luggages.

So after visiting the Colosseum we decided to find the perfect restaurant around the district of Circo Massimo. Some Goolge maps search later, we found the Marco Martini Chef Restaurant, the best deal around this district !

From outside, you wouldn't think this restaurant has a so cool and cozy winter Garden, the ideal place to reset.

The staff was so nice with us and helped us to storage our luggages.

Table for two at Marco Martini Chef Restaurant

We choose the two courses menu at 28€.

For starters we had very fine and healthy choices of :

1. Cuttlefish with tomatoes and seaweeds

2. The perfect match between fresh shrimps - sweets as well - and fresh spinach.

After that we enjoyed the two main courses of the day.

1. Linguine cooked in a simple way just to keep the delicious taste of wheat from the pasta and some fresh vegetables.

2. The al dente rigatoni with beef stew. A traditional dish cooked on the perfect way.

I highly recommend this restaurant. This is a great place to discover the real Italian pasta.
