For those who would like to have a stressless journey before departure, read this article for preparing your waiting time at the Airport with this Athens Airport Tour

At Departure Hall

Here you've got a mini food court with about 5 cafes and Restaurants to take time with friends or family before going through security check.

The Plus : a big space with tables.

In this food court, like most of Airports , you've got a Starbucks, and because you're in Athens a "Gregory" store is here too, a Greek modern coffee shop chain with healthy and fresh salads, soups and juices.

Food court at Ground Floor

Before boarding and saying goodbye to Athens, if you're looking for a calm place, I recommend to go upstairs. Here you've got one big cafe - restaurant and a Burger King.

The cafe-restaurant is separate from the Burger King so it remains quiet and it is big enough to find an isolated place. Of course you have to pay the tranquility place!

So let's go back to downstairs. I found there a very great deal, an all day breakfast where you can compose yourself your English breakfast plate, for 5,95€. Besides the same breakfast is at 6,45€ in the upstairs café.

After security check

For all europeans flights you've got to go through the Terminal Gate A30 to A43. There the people density is very high, so it's better for you to find a place to stay.

There are some restaurants and the best value restaurant is the Camden Food Co. The Beer House next door is so expensive that they have to hide their menu to keep people staying there.

And before your departure, if you want to enjoy once again the Greek pastries, don't forget to stop at the Veneti Bakery, a Greek Bakery Chain.
