Warsaw Centrum Breakfast

If you have been following my blog, you probably already know that I really like Poland's breakfast. In Poznan, Wroclaw or here in Warsaw there are a lot of comfortable coffee and restaurants which offer a great selection of eggs and pancakes for breakfast. Here some good addresses in Warsaw Centrum for those who will stay in this area.

1. Etno Café Marszałkowska

First my favorite for its comfort Etno Café. This modern design Café is quite spacy and you can stay here for working. They have big tables with sockets, and even USB plugs. They also display little couches and benches to spend a good time with friends or family around a cup of hot beverages. You've got plenty of choices from coffee latte, Chai latte or ginger winter tea... They also roast their own coffee and sell it to take the same coffee at home. At morning, the medium black coffee is only at 7zl (against 11zl) with one of their breakfast meal. Open every day from 7am to 10pm (8am to 9pm on Sunday).

Pumpkin pancakes with fried egg on top and a bowl with tomato sauce and two fried eggs for 2 breakfast meals, around 20zl each breakfast meal.

2. Niezłe Ziółkoin

In a totally different style, this little Family restaurant with few places prepared delicious Fried eggs for breakfast. With a rich menu of differents fried eggs even vegetarian will find their favorite. And they also offer a catering service. Open every day from 8am to 8pm and from 9am the weekend.

3. Galeria Wypieków Lubaszka

This one is a Poland chain Bakery which serves fresh eggs fried or in omelet for breakfast. This Bakery propose 5 breakfast menu and for those with eggs, a fresh orange juice is included in the menu. And if you don't want to eat eggs, I recommend to try the French Toast, with a seeds mixture as toppings, delicious! Or you can choose their pastries and breads which a lot of locals used to eat for breakfast too. Open from 6.30am to 8pm on week days.

4. Bułkę przez Bibułkę

To be honest, I've tried this one because there are a lot of good reviews on Google map (4.6) and I've thought it would be a good restaurant. If you like the vintage style with flowers and old brick walls with ancient tables and chairs, you can go there for pictures and have a cup of coffee. But honestly, the breakfast is really overrated, tables very small and the staff not very friendly. They clearly don't want you to stay too long there. It's not a place to have a quiet breakfast but a place to have an Instagram breakfast! Omelet and eggs were good.
