Because I'm living in Paris, unfortunately I often have to take a flight in Paris Orly Airport. Most of European and French flights operated by AirFrance or the Low-cost Transavia company are operating here at Orly Airport. I really hate this airport. In 2019, it was ranked 126th out of 132 Airport in the world. It was a really bad airport with so few restaurants and services...
Until last year, in 2019, when a new terminal opened, the terminal 3. The Terminal where the Transavia company is operating. It is a big surprise to see that now, Orly has got more restaurants and cafe bar with more spacious area for waiting your flights with a better lightening than before.
Just after the customs clearances you will pass through the duty free area and then you'll arrive at a very bright hall with shops and restaurants upstairs. Even at 5:00 a.m you can have breakfast there.
I recommend you to have breakfast at those first restaurants you will find upstairs because after this new part of the airport, there are the old coffee shops of Orly Airport like Paul, or Exki which are more expensive and provide worst quality of products.
And if you are in a hurry, the better is to buy something to go at the Relay or the new Monop'daily.
