We stayed at the St Bjur Hotel & Suites in March 2020 during 4 nights.
This hotel is located in the heart of Athens, at Monastiraki Station, just about 3 min walk from the station.
The entry is quite discreet, a tall wooden door just next to a restaurant called the Brunch Factory (which I had already reviewed here) in a busy street, with so many people and restaurants that you will be dizzy in a few minutes!
Arrived in front of this big wooden door, we pushed it and entered into a white and a tiny hall with a small reception desk at the bottom.
The quiet hall and reception were a so big contrast with outside that it was like we've arrived in heaven. The staff was nice and welcome. We checked in without any problem. After a quick ride in a tiny elevator, we arrived at our room.
Surprised! The room was very bright which is important to me, especially when you stayed more than one night. To read and write, a bright space with enough lights is a big plus.
We choose a king size bed and they provide us bathrobes with slippers.
Everything is optimized in this room and opened easy to access. The shower is separated from the toilet, which is better when you're two in the room.
There's even a little kitchen in a closet which makes you have two water points. The hotel provides you a kettle, an important accessory for us who are big consumers of tea.
The air conditioning worked well.
