8 years ago, 2012 December 11th, was the first time of my life I pushed the door of Le Meurice . Located in a 5 stars Luxury Hotel, at the 228 rue de Rivoli on Paris First District, just in front of the Jardin des Tuileries, the Restaurant will break your breath by its so shining and luxury decoration.

When you enter to this Palace, don't make the mistake, you've got two restaurants, one is an ordinary Parisian Brasserie and the other, on your right is the famous Michelin Star Le Meurice Restaurant.

There, you will have a very warm welcome which is rare and precious in Paris ! During all the degustation, the service was so sublte that you almost forget you're surrounded by all the staff and you can totally concentrate on what you're tasting on.

A romantic table for two

Well, let's begin our 8 courses journey and let you immerse by this amazing food experience !

From the Amuse-bouche until the main course, they will serve you 5 starters and the most amazing were the french classical "Boudin" revisited prepared with beetroot and the Pasta with Truffle.

Such pasta was so delicate and fine... you've got the real wheat taste in there.

The Main course, just finish to be cooked in front of you in a copper cassolette, the mushrooms smoothly prepared with the beef filet were a perfectly match, the mushrooms mixture and the filet were all tender and melting.

At the end, they will serve you three differents desserts all preparing by the well-known Patissier Cedric Grolet. My favorite, the amazing Sparkling Lollipops, with a crispy texture of the green chocolate outside and the sparkling mousse inside!

Finally, finished by a cup of fresh roasted coffee.

Served with light and crusty matcha cookies and here you are with the perfect meal...

8 years ago I still remember these surprising effects !

Even The Meurice has changed is chef now, and it's owned by the Michelin Stars Chef Alain Ducasse, I still recommend to go there, It is really worth the experience.
